The Genesee Area Futsal League believes that strong partnerships with local soccer clubs are essential to growing the beautiful game in our region. Together, we can provide year-round development opportunities for young players.
Our partnership program is designed to complement your club's existing programs, not compete with them. Futsal serves as the perfect winter bridge, keeping players active, engaged, and continuing to develop their skills.

What We Ask
Partner Expectations
To ensure a successful partnership that benefits everyone, we ask our partner clubs to commit to the following.
Minimum Participation
- •Bring 6 teams to a single winter/summer session
- •Commit to early registration before general public
Promotional Support
- •Send one email blast to families each session
- •Share social media posts we provide
Coaching Involvement
- •Send 1–2 coaches to a GAFL futsal workshop
- •Encourage coaches to attend training sessions
- •Use GAFL's recommended futsal training plan
Communication Standards
- •Submit rosters on time
- •Communicate absences 24–48 hours ahead
- •Provide a single club liaison for scheduling
Age-Group Alignment
- •Place teams in proper competitive levels
- •Provide clear competitive expectations
- •Ensure teams fit the age/level appropriately
Data Sharing
- •Share team strength levels
- •Provide player pool size estimates
- •Communicate preferred days/times
